You’ll get a website that looks professional, explains what you do clearly and makes it easy for the right people to contact you. I’ll build it, host it and look after it for you, all for one predictable monthly fee.

No DIY templates. No being passed between different departments. Just a properly managed WordPress website and direct support from me when you need it.

Iconic Monthly lowers the initial cost without lowering the standard. Instead of paying for the complete build upfront, you pay a small setup fee followed by a manageable monthly amount. The plan also includes the hosting, maintenance and practical support needed to keep your site healthy after launch.

This isn’t about giving you something flashy for the sake of it. It’s about creating a clear, professional website that does its job.

If you need an online shop, membership system, multilingual site, custom portal or other complex functionality, I’ll be honest with you. Iconic Monthly probably won’t be the right route, but I can talk you through a bespoke option instead.

You won’t just receive a website and be left to work out the rest. I’ll take you through the project from the first conversation to launch, then continue looking after the technical side for you.

Planning and discovery

We’ll start with a straightforward conversation about your business, your customers and what you need the website to achieve. I’ll then plan a clear page structure so every page has a purpose.

A professionally designed WordPress website

I’ll design and build a responsive website of up to seven pages using an agreed flexible design system. It will be created around your brand and content, rather than dropped into a generic page factory.

Enquiry forms and clear calls to action

Your visitors will have an obvious next step. I’ll add the agreed enquiry forms and calls to action so it’s easy for someone to get in touch.

Basic on-page SEO setup

I’ll put the core foundations in place, including sensible page titles, headings and search-friendly page structure. This helps search engines understand the site, but it isn’t an ongoing SEO campaign, and I won’t promise rankings.

Analytics and enquiry tracking

I’ll set up the agreed tracking so you have a clearer view of how people use the website and when they complete important actions.

Managed hosting and ongoing care

Your monthly plan includes managed hosting, WordPress updates, backups, security monitoring and uptime monitoring. I’ll take care of the routine technical work that helps keep the site secure, reliable and available.

Minor content updates

You’ll also have up to 30 minutes each month for minor content changes, such as replacing a paragraph, updating an image or changing contact details. This allowance doesn’t roll over, and larger additions or new functionality will be quoted separately before any work begins.

When you have a question, you’ll be dealing with me, Martin Reynolds, not a call centre or an anonymous ticket queue. I’ve been helping businesses with WordPress since 2008, and I’ll explain things in plain English.

1: Tell me about your business

Start by completing the short enquiry form. I’ll review what you need and let you know whether Iconic Monthly looks like the right fit.

2. Have a friendly discovery call

We’ll talk through your goals, the pages you need and any features that matter. There’s no hard sell. The purpose is to make sure the package suits your business before either of us commits.

3. Confirm the plan

If it’s a good fit, I’ll set out the scope, payment schedule, responsibilities, ownership position and exit terms clearly. You’ll be able to read everything before signing and making the setup payment.

4. Send your content

I’ll guide you through the words, images and business information needed for the site. The production schedule starts once the agreed content has been received, so supplying it promptly helps keep the project moving.

5. I design and build your website

I’ll create the site, carry out the agreed technical setup and give you an opportunity to review it. The usual target is four to six weeks from receiving all required content, depending on the project and how quickly feedback is provided.

6. Your website goes live

Once everything is approved, I’ll complete the final checks and launch your new site.

7. I keep looking after it

After launch, your hosting, maintenance, backups, monitoring and monthly minor-edit allowance continue as part of the plan.

Iconic Monthly costs £147 to set up, followed by £127 per month for a minimum of 24 months. No VAT to pay.

Your minimum payment over the initial 24-month term is £3,195 in total: the £147 setup fee plus 24 monthly payments of £127.

The 24-month term allows the website build to be spread over time while funding the real ongoing services that keep your website hosted, maintained and supported.

After month 24, you can move onto the rolling care plan, currently planned at £77 per month, or use the handover route set out in your agreement. Any applicable notice, ownership, licence and handover terms will be shown clearly before you sign.

What might cost extra?

The package has a defined scope so you always know what is included. Extra pages, professional copywriting, custom photography, booking integrations, ecommerce, advanced SEO and larger development changes are not silently added to your monthly plan.

If you need something outside the agreed scope, I’ll explain the options and price it separately first.

Neither route is automatically better. The right choice depends on how you prefer to invest and what you need the website to do.

Yes. The setup fee is £147. It covers the initial onboarding and confirms your place in the production schedule. This initial low upfront investment covers the set-up costs to get your project started.

The plan spreads the cost of creating your website while also including the hosting, maintenance and support that continue after launch. A 24-month commitment makes that model workable without a large initial build invoice.

The plan has a 24-month minimum term, so it isn’t a cancel-anytime service during that period. The agreement will explain the early-exit mechanism and any payment or handover implications before you sign.

At the end of the 24-month plan, you are free to carry on with a hosting and maintenance support package at £77.00 per month, or you are free to move your website and hosting to anyone else you choose.

Your agreement will explain ownership of your domain, written content, images, website files, design system and software licences separately. I’ll make this clear before the project starts, including what happens at the end of the minimum term or if you leave early.

Yes, unless copywriting or photography is added separately. I’ll tell you exactly what is needed and help you structure it, but the standard package assumes you provide the final text, images and information within the agreed timescale.

The usual target is four to six weeks after I’ve received all of the required content. Timing can change if the scope changes, content arrives late or feedback and approvals are delayed.

No honest web designer can guarantee a particular number of enquiries. I’ll build the site around clear messaging, trust and straightforward calls to action, but results also depend on the quality of your offer and how the right people find the website.

We’ll agree how your existing domain and email are handled before work starts. Domain registration, website hosting and email hosting are different services, so I’ll make sure responsibilities are clear and avoid disrupting your existing email wherever possible.

Possibly. I’ll first look at what you have, how it was built and whether any content can be reused safely. Iconic Monthly is for a focused new build; complex migrations, extensive content transfer or repairs may need a separate quote.
